New 2022/23 season hopes for Guildford Thunder

The new korfball season for Oxfordshire Korfball League Division 1 kicks off for our first team this coming weekend (October 16), with a double-header away against Oxford City's second and third team.

The matches will take place at St Gregory The Great School in Oxford as our 2022/23 season fixtures start.

Last year saw honours shared between City 3 and Thunder - each with an away win. City 2 won both of the clashes of the 2021/22 OKA season. City 3 have already lost their first game this season and Thunder hope to add to their misery this time out.

Our second team, Storm, will host Basingstoke Bulls 2 the following weekend (October 23). Surrey hopes are high of a repeat of last season's pair of victories against the Bulls in the OKA division 2 (south).
